RTDs with Threaded Thermowell
Approvals
Complete RTD assemblies with threaded thermowells for direct process installation — precise temperature measurement with built-in sensor protection.
Threaded thermowells allow RTD assemblies to be screwed directly into pipework, vessels, or process connections for a secure, leak-tight installation. Available with BSPP, BSPT, or NPT threads in sizes from ¼” to 1″, the thermowell protects the sensing element while allowing removal and replacement without interrupting the process. Helical (straked) thermowell designs are also available for high-velocity applications where vortex-induced vibration is a concern. Suitable for temperatures from ‑196°C to +650°C, with ATEX, IECEx, and UKEX approvals available for hazardous area installations.

Customisation Options
Every RTD can be tailored to your needs — from element type and wiring to full bespoke temperature sensor designs engineered to your specification.
RTD Sensor with Solid Drilled Threaded Thermowell
An RTD sensor supplied with a solid drilled threaded thermowell, providing robust protection for the sensing element in demanding process environments. Designed for direct installation into pipework or vessels, this assembly is suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications where durability and reliability are essential.

RTD Sensor with Solid Drilled Helical Threaded Thermowell
An RTD sensor supplied with a helical straked drilled threaded thermowell, engineered to suppress vortex shedding and reduce flow-induced vibration. The helical geometry lowers dynamic stresses on the sensing element while providing robust mechanical protection. Suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, and high-velocity applications where durability and reliability are essential.

RTD Sensor with Fabricated Threaded Thermowell
This RTD sensor assembly incorporates a fabricated threaded thermowell, offering a cost-effective solution for many industrial process applications. It provides reliable sensor protection while allowing flexibility in materials, dimensions, and process connections to suit specific operating requirements.
