RTD Spring Loaded Sensor with Extension

The RTD401 is a spring loaded RTD sensor with extension piece, connection head and process thread. The process thread connection can be specified with a BSPP, BSPT, NPT or Metric thread.

The RTD401 is commonly configured as a duplex RTD sensor, however it is available as a 2, 3 or 4 wire Pt100 sensor or Pt1000 sensor in either simplex, duplex or triplex configuration. The accuracy class can be selected from 1/10 DIN, 1/5 DIN, 1/3 DIN, class A or class B.

This RTD assembly is available with an aluminium, stainless steel or plastic connection head which has a M20 x 1.5 cable entry. The temperature measurement sensor can be terminated with a ceramic terminal block, 4 to 20 mA transmitter or supplied with tails. There is also an option to specify loop powered or battery powered indicator.

The RTD401 RTD temperature sensor is additionally available with ATEX Exia, IECEx Exia, UKEX Exia (intrinsically safe), ATEX Exd, IECEx Exd or UKEX Exd (flameproof) hazardous area approval for use within Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22.

The RTD401 has an available temperature range between -196°C and +650°C.
