RTD Sensor with Solid Drilled IDF/ISS Hygienic Thermowell

The RHA130 is a hygienic temperature assembly combining a spring loaded RTD sensor and solid drilled IDF/ISS thermowell. This heavy duty construction is designed for use within applications involving high pressures and flow rates.

The RHA130 temperature sensor is available as a 2, 3 or 4 wire Pt100 or Pt1000 in either simplex, duplex or triplex configuration. The accuracy class can be selected from 1/10 DIN, 1/5 DIN, 1/3 DIN, class A or class B.

This IDF/ISS hygienic RTD assembly is available with an aluminium, stainless steel or plastic connection head which has a M20 x 1.5 cable entry. The sensor can be terminated with a ceramic terminal block, 4 to 20 mA transmitter or supplied with tails. There is also an option to specify loop powered or battery powered indicator.

The RHA130 hygienic thermowell is available with either a parallel or tapered stem profile and has wide variety of process thread connections available.

In order to determine or prove the suitability and required dimensions of a thermowell based on the process conditions, we offer wake frequency calculations as per ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2016. In addition there are a number of other certification and testing services available including 3.1 material certificates, pressure testing and positive material identification (PMI).

The RHA130 hygienic RTD IDF/ISS temperature sensor is additionally available with ATEX Exia, IECEx Exia, UKEX Exia (intrinsically safe), ATEX Exd, IECEx Exd or UKEX Exd (flameproof) hazardous area approval for use within Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22.
