Type 4 Connection Head

The Type 4 connection head is manufactured from aluminium and is weatherproof to IP68 making it suitable for environments with high levels of dust, dirt, or sand. The fully removable lid is secured via two screws and allows for easy access to the temperature sensor and termination.
The Type 4 connection head is available with a single M20 x 1.5 cable entry and can accommodate a temperature sensor through the M24 x 1.5 probe entry. The housing can be fitted with either a DIN standard terminal block or temperature transmitter.
This housing can sometimes be known as a KD or DIN Form B connection head.
